Highly recommended.

Originally released in 1983, recorded on a Revox open reel mastering deck, it shows a more experimental side of The Clean, although rocking versions of 'Odditty', 'Thumbs Off', 'At the Bottom' and 'Hold On To The Rail' are definitive.

The more experimental stuff recalls Syd Barrett/Plastic Ono Band/Velvet Underground shone through a uniquely Kiwi prism. 'Yellow Man', and 'David Bowie' are the best of the weirder stuff, and sound more than just a little like the material the Kilgour brothers recorded in 1983 for The Great Unwashed's debut album.
