Dirty Ghosts may have missed an opportunity here by not including a single ninja sword in their clip for “Katana Rock”. Still, the darkly lit brick walls and piles of chairs under the layered projections of Allyson Baker suit the tune just fine.

Psychedelia colour schemes help connect the track to the San Francisco scene between the 60’s and 80’s, particularly “those couple of years after the punk scene had died off” says Baker.
