Brute Force And His Drum = Australian producer/DJ John J. Francis (Morning Of The Earth/2JJ and much more) and drummer Jim Yonge of prog-rockers, Pirana. A mighty strange studio indulgence, they recorded the "Weird And Wonderful"/"Strange" 7" in '74 and released it on the small Copperfield label. This psych/synth beast now goes for upwards of $400 and has never been reissued properly until now.

This also features four previously unreleased tracks from the same sessions which are equally as wild, wooly and awesome as the main cuts, sounding like the missing link twixt the Residents and The Cramps. Bongo-fury synth madness meets monster-rock? Who the hell knows? This rules! Totally mind-melting oddball sounds from nearly 50 years ago, this is an amazing unearthing.
