Described as “New York’s most diabolical rhythm and blues band”, Street Sermons promises to be a distillation of the devil may care attitude of the city streets. With Oakley Munson of Black Lips on production duties, it certainly shares their own raw and ready vibes.

The artwork goes some way to letting us know what to expect before the record even begins playing; the monochrome shot of the band offset by their name in red feeling like a classic set-up.
