Together with the ex-POGUES guitarist, he has now recorded his second long player, which is once again rooted in the swamps of New Orleans and impressively proves that country music can also be really banging.

'Pirana' offers raw, unpolished sounds that drip with sweat and alcohol. And DM Bob and Jem Finer don't just limit themselves to the tried and tested, but also like to mix in borrowings from Cajun, blues, rockabilly or bluegrass into their sounds.
