Outer Minds became a staple live act in hometown Chicago and, after releasing a handful of singles and a cassette, they showed up with two full-length albums in 2012, each with its own distinct sound.
The second, Behind the Mirror, shows a dramatic shift in tone. Here, they aim for "darker" psych, favouring minor-key organ lines over bright, jangling guitar.
