"A year ago, STEFAN from the ESTROGEN HIGHS (Trouble In Mind Records) introduced me to the FRUSTRATIONS and pitched doing a split EP. The material sounded sick and we were way into it. The Estrogen Highs side is full up with all the noisy, psychedelic, garage punk that they do so well, and Detroit’s own Frustrations delivered some heavy shred-filled jams that are cracklingly hypnotic. Fast forward past a bunch of industry-related plant delays and here we are, with records in hand and ready to make ears happy. While sadly, this is the last of the recorded Estrogen Highs material (RIP), it could easily be considered some of their finest work yet. The Frustrations are still active, having been doing their thing for over 10 years now throughout the midwest. Stefan Christensen from the Estrogen Highs is now playing out and releasing new material under his own name. Look for tours and more recordings coming soon. Edition of 250 copies.
