Altın Gün’s return to a more rock-oriented style is greatly welcomed alongside the usual sprinkling of synths..

Kicking off the album with a ripper is “Badi Sabah Olmadan,” a song from their Bandcamp-only release which demonstrates how closely the band has married the synths with the rock instrumentation. The riffs are catchy, the synths wash over you, the instrumental is lush, and the performances are tight and super energetic.

Maybe their best effort, Altın Gün solidifies modern anatolian psych. This has the benefit of not being side lined as only background music like Khruangbin, but instead keeps the melodies and energy up front.
