Highly entertaining album in the singer-songwriter idiom. Like a lot of contemporary singer songwriters the songs are well constructed. Unlike a lot of contemporary singer songwriters the arrangements, particularly the instrumentation, is really original and well thought out. And perhaps most distinctively, the song's subject matters aren’t limited to matters of the heart.
This is reminding me of Purple Mountains.
