Highly recommended.

Featuring the excellent "Woo Hoo" by 5.6.7.8's

Tarantino proves beyond a doubt that much of his genius is comprised of matching the perfect music to the footage he shoots. This album covers a startling array of styles, from Nancy Sinatra's skeletal torch song "Bang Bang" and Charlie Feathers' rollicking "That Certain Female" to Luis Enrique Bacalov's ghostly "The Grand Duel" and Bernard Herrmann's theme to Twisted Nerve - all within the first four tracks.

Further selections by Santa Esmeralda, Isaac Hayes, NEU! and even Zamfir lend the soundtrack an international feel, one that complements the film's globe-trotting storyline.

The album also single-handedly made both Tomoyasu Hotei's "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity" and the 5.6.7.8's cover of "Woo Hoo" instantly ubiquitous in the American media, and one has to give it credit for that.
