Incarnate is the seventh studio album by Boston's Killswitch Engage. Produced and engineered by guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, the set features 12 new songs. As evidenced by the pre-release singles "Strength of the Mind" and "Hate by Design," the music here is more diverse than what appeared on the celebrated Disarm the Descent. It's still mostly metalcore but contains -- even by admission of vocalist Jesse Leach -- a variety of moods, and there's a darker, moodier tone in some tracks.
