Highly recommended.

We've sold plenty of Today My Friend You Drunk The Venom (back in stock last week and nearly all gone again...) and this earlier release is no less special. Compelling post-rock driven by dubby bass lines and stinging guitar. The vocals are halfway spoken and add an edge of dystopian paranoia.

Dylan Mccartney's from The Serfs reductionist solo recording endeavor, now turn into a 6-7 piece live band of chaos, has unleashed the huge dark post-punk power of "Down River in the Distance".

An unexpected obscure paranoic masterpiece, where is also involved his Serfs' colleague Dakota Carlyle, that in Dylan's own words, "It's meant to be a cursed, degraded composition to accompany a forlorn journey along a river, with strange images just out of sight... like a dream".
