TURNSTYLE - Key Note Speaker - A Casio Keyboard Compilation LP

The band’s inclusion in the WA Museum Boola Bardip Innovations gallery for creative process using toy/ domestic keyboards prompted the band to move away from the best of idea and dedicate the release to their Casio-heavy material (which incidentally includes their much loved singles Spray Water On The Stereo and Purple Crown.

Included is one new unreleased track “We Ran with The Pack” - a keyboard heavy/ fuzz fried anthem about the band’s experience and backstage brushes with successful, mainstream artists. Incidentally, the song uses a sample from Turnstyle’s 1998 tour video diary of a member of The Living End giving this advice to a member of Turnstyle: “You gotta go out there and tell ‘em you’re gonna rock ‘em like they’ve never been rocked before!” after a particularly poorly received show at the Gold Coast’s Playroom.
