The last time we had this debut album from New Zealander Vanessa Worm they flew out and it has taken quite some time to source again. Fans of NUN and LCD Soundsystem take note.

Her music fits in with no genre and no scene – it is its own genre and its own scene. Musically free and anarchic, Vanessa conforms to nobody’s dogma. Before lockdown Vanessa played a series of Southern Hemisphere live shows that entranced all who saw them.

In 10 tracks, New Zealand's most electrifying new talent moves through hate-rock to post-punk electronica in an anarchic farrago of style. As such, the practice of genre convention is superfluous when defining this genre-bending artist.
