Originally released at the tail end of summer in 2001, Explosions In The Sky's second album was a visceral, speaker-destroying escalation from the modest minimalism of their debut, How Strange, Innocence.

One can venture thousands of attempts trying to define what power is. What Explosions in the Sky bring to mind is that power doesn't necessarily have to be simply a show of physical strength. It doesn't have to be a political leader using his clout. Rather, power, in its simplest and most primitive definition is merely the ability to move something, whether it be abstract or concrete. EitS use power to the nth degree in this presentation.
