Originally released in 1982, Pop Surgery was Bender's final album. He brought together tape experiments, drum machines and analogue sequencers to deconstruct the idea of the pop song - Pop Surgery perhaps containing his best attempts at doing so. Fans of Suicide, Throbbing Gristle circa 20 Jazz Funk Greats and the early strains of Cabaret Voltaire should check this out.
