Clutch's way with a boogie and a groove is something that most other bands can try, but never really capture. While the previous two albums showed some more rock-charged changes from the bluesier angles explored in the late oughts, this Book of Bad Decisions bring it back in and it makes this album feel a lot like a summary of all they've done over the years, looking back as much on this band's own history as much as the history they're already so familiar with.
