DAVID BOWIE - Low LP
$51.95
Remastered. 180 gram vinyl.
Highly recommended.
Both Low and Heroes aren't only great albums for their music, it's also because of the bizarre atmosphere generated by them. They were made by a very troubled artist at the time, who escaped the United States after an all-time low of drug addiction to reside in walled Berlin. The result is something entirely different from what Bowie had done since then, new sounds, unusual instruments, albums filled with experimental instrumental tracks. The transition had already started with 1976's Station to Station, but was completed with the release of Low, which was actually released the same week that Bowie turned 30 years old.
