Our only hint to the pedigree in this record was the phrase "A Childish Production" inside the liners on the follow up album. Sure enough, this is garage rock to take the paint off.
For two bucks, yeah, I'm with this. The organ's a sight more carny than, say, the Mysterians' teethgritting tone producer. Awful lead vocals from Agent Ugly aka Mr. Billy?!? Nagging hooks, fun stuff.
We love it.
