Spiderbait's fourth album is their poppiest to date, but it's no way worse than anything they've done previously. This is a gorgeous record, full of hooks and flowing melodies, highlights including the very pretty "Glockenpop", "Daisy May", "Jellybean Drifter" and "Ultralite", while there are also a few curious, quirky instrumentals. The tongue-in-cheek "King Of The Northern" recalls heavier days, but this is glorious overall, one of the best Australian albums of the nineties.
