Velatine = Spooky Records guru and soundman to the stars, Loki Lockwood, and singer Maggie Alley (coincidentally, the daughter of broadcaster/journalist, Jonathan Alley). The genesis of Velatine goes all the way back to the late '90s when Loki first began experimenting with synths to create expansive, cinematic, industrial-tinged soundscapes. Skip to lockdown 2020, and he found the perfect vocal muse in Maggie for the project, injecting a PJ Harvey/Siouxsie-like quality to the proceedings.
