This album is a lot of fun. It's a really interesting listen after the latest Moon Duo album, because not only are Ripley's acts growing closer in sound to each other, but they're both moving closer to accessibility. The production value has a lot to do with that - teaming up with Sonic Boom is never a bad idea, and he's put to good use in the mastering of this one. It makes me wish that Kember worked with more acts that pull from the Sound of Confusion era Spacemen. Lazy Bones is an obvious hit here, but all the tracks grow on you with each listen.
